| Tribuni Angusticlavii | It's an interpretation of the Qur'an that if you die in defence of Islam you will recieve 72 virgins in heaven. I liked it, pisses me off how **** the American PR machine is. |

| PainMaster | Post; I agree [I think].I agree with the General [I think]. I only say I think in case I missed something. Making fun of the prisoners is a hell of alot better then beheading them like they've done to our people that they captured. Why can't we do that to them? I think the picked on prisoners got off easy.

| Tribuni Angusticlavii | and im sorry hes such an arrogant but i dont go and make a big song and dance about it.i understand that the american self esteem suffered a big blow, but seriusly, how many of these "clever" articles to we have to read. they arne't clever. they aren't funny. and frankly, i doubt the authenticity of such a letter. and they only inflame "the other side" just as much as teh stuff on al jezeera. iv done a bit of a search of the net and all i can find is other sites with people going "this is the article, this guy rocks" and i cant find the original anywhere. if there is no understanding, or attempt at it (which there clearly isn't, no one has any problems with the deaths "they deserve it" and "well its to be expected there will be some accidents" seem to be the common brush off) then you will never deserve the title of superpower and you will never properly resolve any of the messes you are currently in
__________________ If I am asked what we are fighting for, I can reply in two sentences. In the first place, to fulfil a solemn international obligation . . . an obligation of honor which no self-respecting man could possibly have repudiated. I say, secondly, we are fighting to vindicate the principle that small nationalities are not to be crushed in defiance of international good faith at the arbitrary will of a strong and overmastering Power.
