Post; USMC Bases


are all of the marine's bases around or near the coast instead of being inland like the Army and Air Force? and if u want to answer this, where are u stationed and what's the bases name?

Yea, basically every base the Marine Corps has are stationed near a coast, mainly for deploying reasons. I think we have a only like 2 or 3 that aren't on the coast(29 Palms) being one of them.


I'm currently stationed at Camp Lejeune, NC

Yep, because the Marines are able to be deployed to any foreign shore within 24 hours

You have to have the Beaches and the Oceans to train in amphibious operations. 29 Stumps being an exception.
