I know about this pistol that you are talking about. I believe it was called the LeMont revolver, it had a 9-shot cylinder, and a second barrel loaded with 00 buckshot. This was J.E.B. Stuart's sidearm, and was popular with many Confederate officers.

yeah...warfare did change alot.... Imagine tha Napoleonic wars and how they were fought, and see it now..wonder how it would be in like 200 yrs
