Europe cannot defend itself. We simply can't or we don't ant to. Our utopistic, pacifist and short sighted public opinion wouldn't agree on an even small increase in budget spending on the military or defense.
Way easier to just let others take care of it and host antiamerican parades on our streets at the same time.

Anyways the presence of US bases in Europe is being renogotiated now. They're moving most of the German bases eastwards to way more proamerican countries such as the Baltic nations or Poland.

I quess someday when KFOR will be pulled out, the same **** starts all over again. KFOR can't stay there forever. If there has been fought for dozens of generations, why could all suddenly end in few years?
