| Nuclear Duck Hunter ![]() | The USA has to be concerned when Communism starts to spread to this Continent. South and Central America are still on this Continent the last time I looked. The reason that Russia was not allowed to install missile bases in Cuba is pretty self evident. The wolf can never be allowed to set up headquarters next to the sheep pens, period. That is and always will be USA policy. Learn to accept things that you can't change and wars will dwindle to peace.

| Milforum's Bouncer | Ouch. With that logic Missileer the same could be said for the US of the spread of fundamentalist militant islam. Might makes right? This is not something to aspire to in a world wrought with so many people who feel victimized by American hegemony. Live by the sword die by the sword. People who are oppressed into peace will never be pacified, they will merely wait til the giant slumbers and then slit his throat. I would prefer a world in which one can learn to live with differences and accept that there is more than one right answer in the world to the myriad of problems as humans we all face, not just the American prescription. |

By the way, the tale of the wolf is wonderful, but I guess that many muslims think the same way as you concerning the US troops located in South Arabia. | |

| Primus Pilus | CIA Study Of Assassination: A how-to guide book in the art of political killing, the 19-page manual offers detailed descriptions of the procedures, instruments, and implementation of assassination. The manual also notes that to provide plausible denial, "no assassination instructions should ever be written or recorded." Murder, the drafters state, "is not morally justifiable," and "persons who are morally squeamish should not attempt it." http://www.gwu.edu/~nsarchiv/NSAEBB/...temala2_1.html http://www.gwu.edu/~nsarchiv/NSAEBB/.../ciaguat2.html Read this declasified document, its quality is not very good, but you can understand it. http://www.gwu.edu/~nsarchiv/NSAEBB/...temala1_1.html (Line 4: The Agency drew up list of individuals for assasination... |

| Milforum Moderator ![]() | It's a given that the United States Policies in Latin America have not always been noble or right. But to ignore the Cuban Policies backed by the USSR in the 60's, 70's and 80's and Fidels continued support of FARC, Sendero Luminoso, Tupac Amaru, Zapatistas and thier various splinter groups is ignoring the reasons for some of the US policies.
