BAGHDAD - A marine died from injuries received in a fire fight with
insurgents in the restive city of Fallujah in Iraq's insurgent-plagued
Al-Anbar province, the US military said late on Saturday.
The death of the marine, which happened Saturday, brings the number of US
military deaths in Iraq since the March 2003 invasion to 2,756, according a
AFP count based on Pentagon figures.
