Post; US intelligence under fire for CIA tapes, Iran report (AFP)


AFP - The US intelligence community came under fire over the weekend on two fronts, as conservatives criticized a recent CIA report on Iran's nuclear program and the Justice Department announced a probe into the agency's destruction of videotapes showing interrogations of terror suspects.

If this happens, it will be purely as a result of their own stupidity. Over the years the CIA have been involved in some monumental stuffups/coverups, and generally acting as if they are a law unto themselves.

Every time the CIA gets something wrong, something like this happens.
Now if you conduct operations abroad, what are the chances that you will get everything 100% right?
These guys made the mistake of making everything too easily traceable back to them. Then again, it's not hard because the money had to come from somewhere.
