About US helicopter crashes in Iraq

BAGHDAD, Nov 2 (AFP) - A US military helicopter crashed Wednesday morning
outside the town of Ramadi, west of Baghdad, a US marine spokesman said.

Lieutenant Colonel David Lapan gave no further details, saying more
information would be released later.

A US marine expeditionary force is responsible for military operations in
the restive western province of Al-Anbar which has its capital in the Sunni
Arab city of Ramadi, 100 kilometers (60 miles) west of Baghdad.
