Joe Calzaghi beat Kessler over 12 rounds last night, for a comfortable points victory, to become the undisputed World Super-Middleweight Champion, now holding all 4 titles. Both men were previously undefeated. Joe remains undefeated for 14 years, and has held the world championship for nine, winning over 40 bouts.

This makes Joe arguably the greatest Brit boxer ever, and probably the best pound for pound fighter in the world. At 35, he now wants to step up a weight to light -heavy to take on Bernard Hopkins.

Great warrior. As always, even tho he was well ahead going into the last round, there was no way he was going to play safe - he went at it toe to toe for the last 3 minutes, to beat a fierce opponent almost 10 years younger.
