The UMP45 is a H&K SMG chambered for the .45ACP...Anyone here fired it? Is it as good as the MP5? General info?

Sherman its good. They say the MP5 is supposed to be a "new" Tommy gun, but I mean it cant be the new tommy gun if its not even .45. I think .45 powns 9mm.

I havent shot it but I know I will in the future when Im in the Army.

Visit HKPro for some info on this.

Based of G36, prime selling points is it's a lot cheaper than the MP5 series.

i wouldn't say that .45 owns 9mm. remember, a 9 has less kick than a 45 so i'm sure the recoil is a lot different when shooting on full auto or burst. besides, as the SEALs say, "two to the heart and one to the head, and you won't know the difference."
