Post; U.S. warns of increased risk of Terrorist Attacks

As I see it, it comes down to the same old story with the Bush White House..... there is Political trouble, so, there is a risk of a Terrorist Attack, and now there is a "gut feeling" from Homeland Security Secretary Michael Chertoff about fresh attacks.

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/19700127/

Seems kind of funny to me that England was attacked before the Holiday here, and there was no extra risk..... but now Homeland Security Secretary Chertoff has what could amount to gas, and yet America is at increased risk of Attack.

Now, on a good note, there is News in the Political Realm which could take some of the heat off President Bush for a little while with regards to Iraq, the DoJ, and HHS..... Seems a Married Senator from the South likes to pay Prostitutes for sex.

Not to worry, as Senator David Vitter (R Louisiana) said that his god has forgiven him for his sins with the Prostitutes, Senator Vitter being a Family Man, with a Wife and 4 Kids, and, I guess having a Republican god..... but, perhaps President Bush called the god of Senator Vitter and issued a Full Pardon.

spooky spooky spooky....

I stopped paying attention to the terror alert around the time they came out with it... You're 10 times more likely to kill yourself than to be killed in a terrorist attack. They should have a suicide alert level.

I can understand it for the security guards and such... but for civilians, no matter what you do, if you board a plane that a Al Qaeda decides they're going to fly into the Sears Tower, you're toast. It's as useless as duck and cover drills.

Look, the LEOs and MIL folks in charge have access to info that you and I don't. When a cop says he has a gut feeling. listen to him. Yeah, does uncle fud screw up sometimes. Yup, but when uncle fud says he has a gut feeling I listen and keep my eyes open.

That means that the S&W 642 revolver goes in the safe and the Beretta 92FS comes out for off-duty carry.
