Reuters - A U.S. Marine transport helicopter
crashed early on Wednesday in western Iraq, the U.S. military
said in a statement.

31 Marines were killed in that crash. I bet the insurgents will claim that they shot it down

"Eye witneses" reported that they saw a rocket, but we (Norway) had a reporter in the same area and he said the weather was really bad, and commercial flights didn't fly because of that...

Helicopters are indispensible but they don't glide like an airplane.

Yeah insurgents will claim somethin' alright.

A hard day for 31 families from that crash and for 5 other families from loses elsewhere. My heart goes out to them.
