| Tribuni Angusticlavii | Post; U-571Was watching U-571 last night, and I know it a bit of a stupid question bt what weapons were kept on the deck of a sumerine? And how did they resist against water?

| Fridgeraider (Instructor) | Yeah it was a small artillery piece really. Also another thing they had was this gyroplane (or whatever you call it). Basically the gun on the deck was the preferred weapon.

| Forum Digger | Adonized parts I'd assume. And since it'd be a breach loader, I don't think you'd have problems with water in the barrel. |

| Tribunus Laticlavius | During the "Happy Times" or however you translate it, the 88mm sunk much more than any other U-boat weapon. Interesting because the U-boat had to be on the surface to use it.
