BAGHDAD - Insurgents killed two US soldiers on Sunday in a roadside bomb
attack on their vehicle in eastern Baghdad, the military said.

The two Americans died when their vehicle was hit by the bomb at around 6:20
am (0220 GMT).

The latest fatalities brought the US military's losses in Iraq since the
March 2003 invasion to 2,643, according to an AFP count based on Pentagon
figures.
