BAGHDAD, Iraq (AP) _ Two U.S soldiers were killed Saturday when their foot
patrol was hit by a roadside bomb south of Baghdad, the U.S. military said.


The names of the soldiers were not released and no further details were
given.

The deaths brought to 23 the number of Americans killed in Iraq this month.
