| Tirones | Post; Two New Unit MottosHi All, The US Navy reserve unit called 'Inshore Boat Unit 27' motto is "Fortune Favors the Brave". IBU-27 is part of Naval Coastal Warfare Group Two, and is based out of Charleston, SC. The now decommissioned US Navy submarine USS Simon Bolivar (SSBN 641), formerly stationed in Kings Bay, GA, was "Without Fear, Without Reproach." I used to be assigned to the 641, and am currently part of IBU-27, so I just thought I'd add these to your list. Thanks! Ron |
