Topic: Turning down a duty assignment

I look back now 20 plus years ago and really kick myself for turning down a couple of assignment. I turned down one in the field of Satilite Communications and ended up in Baumholder, Germany, and the other was a Instructor's Position teaching Satilite Communications and i ended up with the 7th Infantry Division.

And to think I could had any job I wanted when I joined and what did I pick.....Cavalry Scout.....it was fun but didn't really have any marketable civilian skills...
