Post; Turn based strategy... HELP!!!

Does anyone know a site where I can download a game for free that is turn based startegy like the board games Ambush etc. Or better yet a place with tools for making your own board game, hexagonal maps, nato unit pieces etc.

Help.

Not really sure whether this is what you are after but its a fairly good "basic" turn based game.

I personally prefered Steel Panthers II but SPI wasnt bad for the price...free, I also think its has a scenario builder with it.
