Post; Trooping of the colour

We have lots of traditions in the British Military, Trooping of the colour happens on the Monarchs official birthday, the Colours (standards) of each regiment are paraded before the other regiments and before the monarch. This dates back to when we used to carry our colours into battle, so if you were in the Light infantry you saw the colour of the 2nd Dragoons you dont attack them.

Then or course daily Changing of the guards and all of the Pomp and Pagentry that happens daily around Buckingham Palace is all quite a spetacular sight. Very patriotic feeling for a brit to see it, and i am asured by my yank mates that it is quite a specticle for you foreighners too.
