UK tech is way behind the US in some areas? Hmm I really don't think so. If you were to say that UK capability is way behind the US in some areas then that would be more accurate. "An Emperor is subject to no-one but God and justice." Frederick 1, Barbarossa | |

Pakistan military is also very good now. We have a very good Ballistic Missile program. Already have manufactured Missiles that have 95% accuracy rate and over 2000 KM range. Then we are a Nuclear power and 7th largest military force in the world in terms of man-power. We also have built Cruise Missile and I have posted the thread about its Test Fire. We built Al-Khalid MBT's that are very good in combat especially desert warfare. We are upgrading our old MBT's to T-90 standards. Then we have built Mobile Self-propelled Artillery program. Our Airforce has ordered F-16 C/D's and JF-17 Thunders whose recruitment program will complete in 2015. Then we also got submarine building capabilities and we can construct Modern submarines like Agosta B of France. We are fitting Cruise Missile launching pods on our Naval Vessels. Our military training is of very high quality and our soldiers have shown that they are capable of fighting in very tough situations. Saichen Glacier is one example. Our military commandos are also very tough including SSG. I can safely rank Pak military in top 10 armies of the world but I am not mentioning any position here. |

ok guys... Some of the asian countries shouldnt be underestimated. I agree with that. As for training, most of the US troops are the best, and am sure all agree. As well as Britain. Basically, the modernized countries of Europe have good troop training, and u cant really say one is worse than the other coz if there is difference, it would be just a lil.. There too are countries such as Kuwait, now am not saying that it is in the top ten, no lol, but talking about the tech, training and equipment. Kuwaiti troops are trained by US military veterans, such as the Kuwaity National Guard, which is quite different than the US national guard, cause its not the army.. They use equipment and US weapons. As a matter of fact, the only two middle eastern nations that got the FULL gear and options weapons , equipment and vehichles from the US is Kuwait and Israel, one example is the Apache.. Anyyways, looking at China and Nk. Sure, training , equipment and technology is a lil worse, but STILL, it it not to be underestimated.. I am sure even if its worse, its still dangerouse. Then also, look at the numbers.. ![]() 8) ~when a man does his best, what else is there? Gen.George S.Patton |

1.Manpower-China,North Korea,India,America,Russia 2.Technology-America,UK,Canada,Germany,France 3.Firepower-America,UK,Canada,China,North Korea,Russia 4.Equipment-America,Canada,UK, 5.Training-Canada 6.Resources-America,China,India 7.Experience-any country that has been in a military conflict in the past 10 years 8.Available Reserves-China,America,North Korea 9.Nuclear Potential-America,UK 10.Logistics-America,UK,Canada,Germany,France,Australia,China 11. Maintenance-Canada,UK,America,other EU countries 12.Intangibles-Canada 13. Military Tradition-every military force Its almost imposible to say who the top 10 armies are because any army could be better than the other. You never know a group of 10 Greenland eskimo men with guns could beat 50 well armed US soldiers. Look as Vietnam for example, they were horrible epuiped and trained, but they knew how to use the land as a weapon to beat the americans. So in my mind there is really no better army, most European countries,America,Canada,Asia, and some others are all basicly equal when the pros and cons are taken into effect. Anyhoo just my opinion |

http://www.command-post.org/2_archives/010512.html Now, Im not bagging out the yanks, but they did not do it all on their own. Australians where there making sure no body important got out of the city before US Regular's took the city. And Australia, the UK and other nations, did provide fighter aircraft for close air support. The Capture of Baghdad, and the rest of Iraq was a Coaltion Effort. Nobody did it, single handedly.
