Lets go, from 1st to 10th:

3. Tupolev 160 Blackjack

5. Saab Gripen



6. Sukhoi 47 Berkut



7. SR-71 Blackbird



8. A-10 Thunderbolt

9. F-22 Raptor



10. Messerschmitt BF-109

My all time favorite airplane.... as slender as slender gets. Quit charming I'd say.

C-121 Super Connie (L-1049 G, EC-121 "Warning Star", VC-121 E "Columbine" as Ike´s "Air Force One") was the most sexy loking plane ever, without doubt, that unique slight curve in the hull !, that delicate front wheel !!, that graceful undercarriage !!!... eerrhmm... getting caried away here a bit...:

Exactly what I was going to say. The A-10 despite its many advantages but it is Butt ugly. It has no curves and its tail stick out like warts, its nose landing gear is off center, and its engines make it look like the Hunchback of Notre Dame.

Even the people that fly it will tell you its an ugly duckling.

I dont the the 109E would be on list either. Its box cockpit with the thick window frames look ugly and the support braces for the aerilons make the plane look like its on crutches or something.



P-51D should be on the list.
