| Milforums Spamkiller | Post; Three U.S. soldiers killed in two attacks in IraqMedia: The Associated Press Byline: Date: 23 September 2006 BAGHDAD, Iraq_An American soldier was killed Saturday in a roadside bomb attack in Baghdad, and two others were killed in an attack on their patrol outside Hawija, the U.S. command said. The soldier's vehicle in Baghdad was hit by the bomb at about noon (0800 GMT) in a northern section of the capital, the military said. In the second attack, two soldiers were killed and three others injured when a bomb exploded near their patrol outside Hawija, 240 kilometers (150 miles) north of Baghdad. No further details were released on either incident and the name of the soldiers were being withheld pending notification of his next of kin.
