Topic: Three dead in Baghdad car bombing

BAGHDAD, Nov 6 (AFP) - Three Iraqi civilians were killed and seven wounded
Sunday when a car bomb exploded in west Baghdad, an interior ministry
official told AFP.

The blast hit the Yarmuk neighbourhood in late afternoon, the official said.


He added that a Sunni cleric -- Sheikh Mohammed Wassun al-Azzawi, prayer
leader of the Al-Salam mosque -- had been kidnapped by unidentified gunmen
in the west of the capital but gave no further details on the circumstances.
