| Tribunus Laticlavius | Of course you must realise that this is not selective editing. Pbbbtt!! Your standard of trolling will have to improve greatly bxqs. You are no more than a wheel barrow in a land of tip trucks here. You have made a poor start for a new player.

| Nuclear Duck Hunter ![]() | I'm not surprised to see something of this caliber come from a Chinese forum after the way Google content has been controlled in China. I would be ashamed if such b..ls..t propaganda came from America with the expectation that a sane person would believe one iota of it. It's not even up to the standards of spam. I will leave this one for the members to see and judge, but no such luck on anything else like this posted on here, it will be deleted.

| Fridgeraider (Instructor) | It's obviously selected to give different messages but there is a small element of truth (as with all lies). 1) Even in disaster, Chinese people in general are far less likely to get violent towards each other. 2) When the police or military show up, the Chinese people cooperate, unlike in the West where we're just bombarded with messages of resisting the police and the military to the point that it becomes an automatic reflex in lots of people. 3) The Chinese government are trying to keep the people happy because they're actually afraid that if they cannot deliver to the expectations of the people, there will be an organized overthrow and call for actual democratic elections (I s*** you not). So like I said, it's obviously a very one sided photo collection but that's what I think is actually true about them. And for those of you who would know, I am by no means anything close to a fan of China. These guys are not stupid.

| Tribunus Laticlavius | It's not a matter of whether I think they are stupid. But if this is the quality of Chinese propaganda, their own leadership obviously thinks that their people are stupid. A truly childish attempt. totally lacking in subtlety or real thought. What they neglect to understand is that because our access to the Internet and world news is not censored, we are able to see the truth with our own eyes. Yes,.. our Governments make some mistakes, but they are at least willing to let their people see those mistakes. This is obviously not the case in China. I wonder why?? |

| 100% Space Shuttle Door Gunner | Another attempted spam/propaganda attack by some ChiCom. Ehh.... I know the truth and I know why thousands of my former country men and women (Cuban) leave the island and travel across the Florida Straights to reach the USA. Because the USA is still the best damn nation in the world. Even if the government/people do make mistakes we're still a hell of a lot better then the People's Republic of China.

| Optio | China keeps such a strangle hold on the information coming in and out of the country sometimes the people believe whatever they can get their hands on. Kind of in a since like the middle east but different in the fact alot of the chinese are well educated so you would figure they might have better minds than to just take this at face value. |

| Fridgeraider (Instructor) | Back in the 1930s, Germany had a well educated population that participated in a pretty dark chapter of history. Even well educated people can be misled. The image of the Chinese in these photos are glossed up like it's nobody's business but the New Orleans stuff is believable. I hope America makes a comeback because the last time I went I saw a country in trouble. Unlike when I was there between 2000 and 2004, there was a distinct lack of professionalism at almost every level. The trains never ran on time, the metro system had more elevator or escalator outages in 2 weeks than I had seen in other metro systems for the past 3 years combined. And in every "We apologize for the inconvenience" message, it didn't sound like an apology but sounded more like, "Hey, you're ass is lucky we're still running. We're doing you a favor. I'd rather be home ****ing my wife. Screw you losers." There's this stuff about FEMA I keep hearing about... Hopefully in the next 4 years things will turn around. I just have to say it was just shocking. But that was just D.C... things weren't like this at all in Arizona or California. Sorry this ain't a pretty picture but it was just shocking. |
