I did. Oklahoma my Senior year, The King and I my Freshman year, Showboat and Rodgers and Hammerstein's Cinderella my Junior year, and a shortened (by like four hours) version of The Sound of Music.

We ALMOST did The Music Man, but more people voted for Showboat. Personally I wanted to do something fun like Hello, Dolly.

I love musicals.

our school did Hello Dolly back in 2000...The Theater department has existed for 19 years and they've never done the same play twice.

I dunno if the school I went to has or not. We never did while I was there, but I haven't been back since I graduated and haven't kept up with them.

Our auditorium is tiny... which doesn't make it any easier to get props in and out...

LOL I went to a private Christian school. All of our plays, concerts, etc. were either done in the gym (there's a stage on one side and stands on the other), or the church next door. At least you have an auditorium.

actually, our athletic facilities are one of the few nice things that our school has. The track is new, the footbal stadium is in good shape, the gym is nice, and the auditorium is comparable to a modern movie theater.

The school was built in the 1970s (no windows) and was designed for a maximum of 850 students. it currently houses 1200.
