Which brings me to the funny story of how Auntie Sevens got banned for my nephew's first 3 baseball games.......................

Long story short, the ump made a horribly agregious call at a tourney we were playing in. I got mad and argued with him. He told me to sit down and shut up. I told our pitcher to hit the other team's pitcher. It started a brawl, and now my nephew's team is without a scorekeeper and their best pitcher for the first 3 games of the season, which starts in about a week........

you know, I always hated those kind of people when I played...

Well me, too. But the call was baaaaaaaaaaaaaaad. Even the other team was screaming at him. One of our players got hit in the hand by a pitch while batting. Automatic base right? Apparently not in this ump's rule book. He made him keep batting, with two broken knuckles mind you, and struck him out. Soooooo we all sort of got a tad upset.

one reason i prefer hockey over baseball-if there's a bad call, at least we are expected to throw down so the bad call becomes an expected call.

I love hockey. Pure, unrated violence. With weapons!
