China dosen't need to use Military force to defeat us. They simply start a trade embargo against us and destroy the US without fireing a shot.

Yes, cause everyone is going to listen to a trade embargo on the US. Since its just the chinese not sending goods, that will probally be beneficial for the us in the long run.

China would first have to become economically secure in order to do that, you don't go around boycotting your biggest customer. China would be hard hit but the USA would just have more expensive goods. The whole world would go into recession since the American economy tends to have that effect and everyone will blame china and they'll end up looking like dumbasses.

Their hybrid state of capitalism/communism definitely isn't going to last unless they throw off communism and become more democratic. I'm betting as soon as the mainland does that taiwan would probably reunite with them and the USA wouldn't receive too much of a threat from a democratic china.
