Post; Taking a laptop to the army?

Been a while since I posted here.

Well, I know this is an embarrassingly geekish question that I should probably ask my local service, but they have been having tech problems lately and the wait is killing me.

See, I'm from Israel, and there is conscription here (meaning army's mandatory, argh!). So, I'm going to premilitary training (for the airforce tech squadron - probably more studying than training ) on the 21th this month. My question is - what are the regulations for having a laptop? any chances I would be allowed to have one?

Thanks ahead,
Spartaz (huh? Spartaz? that's my nick? what was I thinking!?)

Get your self in your unit and settled before worrying about taking a computer with you. It could make some people a bit nervous of what information is going out.

I would suggest a PM to SHERMAN who is our resident Israeli mod.
