| Immunes | Post; Taken the first step...Well, today I had my JOES day [for non-Aussies, it is a basic evaluation for your suitability to join the defence forces]. Talk about paperwork! I wonder how many trees were killed that day. Anyways, I have been told I am eligible for the next step - the Assessment Day. I was also given a three-page handout of potential questions So, has anyone had any experience with Assessment Day, especially in regards to Officer entry? My first preference is to become an Intelligence Officer in the RAAF. I have read about the interview process and it sounds rather daunting. Is it as tough as it sounds? Thanks in advance. |

| Immunes | Thanks both. @Navy Boy: Yes, I was pretty worn out after all that paperwork...apparently there might be more to come @therise21: It's all part of Officer selection...in total I have two sets of interviews. The first one is the one I had mentioned earlier, then if I pass that stage I have to sit in front of an Officer Selection Board. Fun fun
