Suicide bomb attack kills three Iraqi soldiers south of Baghdad

BAGHDAD, Nov. 15 (Xinhua) -- A suicide bomber attacked a military
checkpoint south of Baghdad on Tuesday, killing at least three National
Guards, a police source told Xinhua.
"Three National Guards were killed in the attack in the town of
Mahmoudiya, some 30 km south of Baghdad," the source said, adding that
seven people, including four National Guards and three civilians were
injured.
Insurgents frequently target the fledgling Iraqi security forces,
accusing them of collaborating with the US occupation forces.
