Post; Submarine Ops, Take 2

WHILE WORKING for the Navy, my father was surface-testing on board a submarine. He found that dining at this level was something of a challenge, and learned to compensate for the rolling of the sub by holding his plate with one hand while eating with the other. One unfortunate man, though, hadn't yet perfected the method. As the craft tilted with a large swell, his plate went sliding down the length of the table. Seemingly accustomed to such accidents, each shipmate courteously lifted his plate as the runaway meal glided smoothly by.
