| 100% Space Shuttle Door Gunner | Post; Strange thing I have noticed at both the DNC and the RNCHmmmm..... Is it me or are the majority of protesters that support the Democrats more on the side of wrong then right when it comes to protesting? I'm all for freedom of speech and the right to protest. I can't be in favor of the 2nd Amendment and not the 1st Amendment. I support both as equally as I support breathing and living. I've been talkign to some of my LEO buddies working the RNC and they've informed me that the protesters are stating come Thursday it's them or the cops. That the protesters will "take no prisoners". Well, all I can say is I hope the protesters brought enough bail bondmen and possibly body bags if they want to get violent. |

Even if the protesters bleed as a result of police defending themselves, it will be called police brutality and if one or two protesters die for whatever reason it'll be called a massacre. It'll be like that protest in Italy years ago I guess. Or Seattle. What I think... pull out all the cops. Let the bad guys do what they want. Once they've done it. Lock and load. |

All it means is that our protesters actually have a spine and are willing to do something about what they deem unjust.

But vandalism and destruction of property and physical harm isn't protesting. | |

Unjust? What -an opposing view? This is an election - No? All of the people vote - No? The other road leads to Animal Farm.

Protesting is their right but yeah, destruction of property etc., is out of order.

Here is the logical flaw in your argument 5.56. You try to tie the protesters at the RNC with the Democratic party. Most of the people who demonstrated there were against the war in Iraq, started by a Republican president. Obviously, they have no reason to demonstrate at the DNC, since they tie the war in Iraq in with the Republicans. This does not mean that they are necessarily democrats though, just that they are attacking a particular platform which the Republican party has been supporting. Unless you can show a study or report about the political leanings of the protesters there, I dont think you can show that they were Republican, Democrat or a member of any other party.

Pfff... what is the point of this whole threat? To show that Democrats are malicious, violant miscreants that want to throw the whole nation in turmoil? Quote:
2) socialist + anarchist does not equal democrat. So again I ask; what is the point of this threat. We already know you dislike Democrats... and I can't see any other point then demonizing the Democrats some more.
