Dill: "What would you know about glory? You call yourself a hero?"
Dax: "No, son. There's no such thing as a hero, it's just a trick. You see, when someone throws their life away, instead of calling him a fool they call him a hero. And as for glory..."
[Dax shoves Dill towards a dead girl]
Dax: "Well ask her, she'll tell you everything you need to know!"
Dill: "How dare you..."
Dax: "Just one man's opinion."
Dill: "No, it's not. It's treason!"
Dax: "Then maybe you oughta shoot me."
Dill: "Now there's something we agree on."
Dax: "Then go ahead. Pull out that popgun and have at it, soldier."
Dill: "No, because I happen to believe in the rules and regulations that the Federation stands for."
Dax: "Hah, very good lieutenant! But you left out the kids."
Dill: "What?"
Dax: "Cowards... they always hide behind rules... and children."
Dill: "I'll see you hang!"

Those quotes might have been more memorable if the people saying them could actually act. The second starshit troopers has to be one of the worst films I have ever seen

I think the exchange between Dax and Dill was pretty well acted out...

I personally couldn't care if it was well-acted or not... 'twas a good movie to me. The lad playing Dax was probably the best actor in the movie.

They filmed the movie in 28 days. The purposefully went for a B grade quality movie. And the guy playing Dax (i wish i could remember the man's name) is actually pretty good. By far the best in the movie.
