| Tribuni Angusticlavii | Post; Sri Lanka: Tamil Tigers release the air base attack videoNov 22, 2007, 17:44 COLOMBO - one month after their stunning attack on the Anuradhapura airbase on October 22 and destroyed or damaged over 26 aircrafts, the Tamil Tigers release a video clip of the Attack. Mr. Velupilliai Pirapharan, the leader of the Tamil Tigers, later conferred Awards of Valour for Tiger cadres who excelled in their performance in the Anuradhapura operation against the Sri Lankan airbase. Four categories of awards, instituted for the first time, were bestowed on that occasion that took place in a secret venue organized in Vanni in the presence of Tiger military commanders and cadres.
