Wow, looks like training has intensified since the last time I spoke to a Russian soldier. It's looking good though.

WOW,i always belived in Spetsnaz, although im against the unification of them, alphas and some other russian SF forces since that unit would be too huge and too complicated to operate with,i like the way it is now, several smaller units, specialised in certain tasks, agile, quick, and if handled well, very effective

PS:yea, and i always wanter a BDU like that (the 3 guys in the audience in background) that is my fav BDU,if someone haves one for sale or knows where can i get one cheap, please PM me,thank you

I also like how the Russian Federation has its special forces spread out with certain CT units being part of the MVD, and look around at www.RussianCombatGear.com for BDUs like that.

Sounds like a pretty common quote. "Train hard, fight easy"... or it's often used by sports coaches "train hard, play easy"

Spetsnaz is a police group, right? They specialize in anti-drug and anti-mafia busts is that correct? I have never been sure as to whether it was a police organization or military group.

It exist 3 type of Spets organizations, FSB(Team Alpha, Vympel,Vitaz) its all those hostage rescue units.

MVD(Interior troops) this is the regular Spetsnaz units. That fight in Chechenya.

GRU(recon) this is like most secret of all of those Spetsnaz units, it will be there objective to make terrorists attacks or assasiations before the war even starts

Here is a very good web page about Spetnaz GRU
