Soviet Russia... info

There is full employment — yet no one is working.
No one is working — yet the factory quotas are fulfilled.
The factory quotas are fulfilled — yet the stores have nothing to sell.
The stores have nothing to sell — yet people got all the stuff at home.
People got all the stuff at home — yet everyone is complaining.
Everyone is complaining — yet the voting is always unanimous.

When it recovers folks who work for it will get their chance. Right now, it's time for most of us to cut down on expenses.

Maybe because although your heart is with Communism, you know it doesn't work and therefore can't really support it. And though Capitalism seems to be the only system working right now, it's so ugly sometimes that it's hard to actually feel good about supporting it.

BTW, supporting someone because no one else is, is really a stupid thing to do.

Personally I think the best system is in between Capitalism and Socialism. Both systems have advantages and disadvantages.

Capitalism by its very nature is exploitative. In order to get ahead, it requires that others fall behind. And unfortunately the system has become jaded as of late. It used to be if you worked hard you would get ahead. But now even if you do work hard you might not get ahead. Basically those that have money now will make more and those that don't will make less. And that chasm between rich and poor is getting wider.

Both the French and Russian Revolutions got started this way. People at the bottom got tired of starving while watching others grew very fat.Samething could happen in America unless some redresses the economic unbalance.

I would hardly call the Russians smashing Capitalism, they seem to be adopting it very quickly. Who is buying all the English Sports teams, are they not Russians?

Ahh, you mean like the way my old country ran during Tito? That was sort of between Capitalism and Socialism, but leaning more to the latters side.

Also, I said SOVIET Russia, not just Russia. They are called Soviet Russia joke's [Some of them are pretty funny].

And I follow my heart, im very fond of some Russian equipment [Such as the Stechkin and Su-35].

So I guess im a Communist, since I like a ruddy Stechkin and a ballerina-dancing Sukhoi?

Actually it's interesting you mentioned that. There is this condition which I've heard being called the Cameroon effect: when hard work no longer leads to a higher quality of life, people actually stop trying.
I've seen this happen in Indonesia for example.
The Chinese own practically everything of value and practically all important "officer" jobs are held by Chinese people. The local Indonesians can't get themselves promoted to any of the important decision making positions in the major companies that matter and so the incentive of working hard is very small. Yet, Indonesia is probably one of the best examples of a near pure Capitalistic society I have actually seen. It's still a bit far from the model but closer than even the United States is.
It's the same attitude towards education. They do not value education so much because what they learn in the classroom will have very little to do with what they will be doing once they have to hit the work force. In fact, the earlier they get to work the better because they'll be working for a few more years.

A middle ground does have to be found.

Like healthcare that's like America's where you have to fork out a fortune after waiting 8 hours in the ER for a very basic treatment is not a good system.
But neither is having a completely free healthcare system that discourages people to take care of themselves, has people seeking treatment for the most trivial matters (and therefore making the lines longer) and also puts a huge burden on the country's tax money.
