I can read Arabic. And it is indeed funny they wrote the same word in both ways. Although technically there is no "Syrian" spelling. There is just one correct way to spell in Arabic. Anything else is just writing words the way they sound in local dialects. Its alot like the way Americans have decided they can spell things diffrently
