Post; signing into the DEP

My recruiter told me he had a job lined up that somebody didn't take but I would have to wait until the active duty contract for it to be listed. I wasn't sure about that so I didn't sign into the DEP since the contract says in capitals, "NO MATTER WHAT YOUR RECRUITER TOLD YOU YOU ARE NOT GAURANTEED ANY JOB..ect). I want to make sure I end up with a job where I can take classes during my off hours and earn my degree so I can apply to be a pilot.

Contact a lawyer who is familiar with military law or the JAG office of a nearby base.

Word of advice though, if you wanna get on with your new brothers in arms drop the "prestigious" hoity toity language it tends to give a bad impression. No one in your chain of command is going to care about anything outside of how well you do the job Uncle Sam has entrusted you with right here, right now.

Good luck.

I am not active duty right now... got out in '95, I was a medic. You should hit PJ up with any Air Force questions, he's active duty right now and knows a thing or three.

There was one JaG student in one of the Law classes I attended. I can't imagine bothering myself with the petty squabblings of insignificants and being a liaison between actuals and the less fortunate. Although, I might be dissuaded for the right price to teach normative (rather than positive) law.
