Post; Sharkrunners - Discovery Channel using real life data in game

Just discovered a blog post about a new online flash game by Discovery Channel's: Sharkrunners.
You use a virtual boat and a virtual crew to track real life sharks that have been tagged with GPS receivers.

Not the most action filled online game, but it's certainly an interesting concept using real life data in online games and I'm sure we'll see more like these soon..

It's quite addictive, and I check it every time I go online, do a few research dives and set a new course before logging off the game.
The boat moves in real time so it can take up to 10 hours to reach a new shark or a port...

Now tracking whales would also be interesting, nevertheless, sounds like an interesting game
