Ever since the SAS burst into the public realm in 1980 this argument has been raging. From a British perspective and general world wide opinion the SAS and SBS have no rivals. I would be interested in the opinion of our American friends

We have had this discussion several time in here, and it have never ended good..
(try to search a bit, and you will find the threads I'm talking about and you can see how they all ended)

It's also almost impossible to tell who's best, since most of the units you have mentioned in your poll works with completely different things..

Sorry about this, but no "who's best" threads are allowed in here for the sake of forum peace..
The only "who's best" threads allowed are the ones that fits in the Military History forum.
