Do these "Get togethers" happen often with Russian and US forces?

If so, I feel sorry for the SWAT guy, he got sambo'd pretty badly.

Um, what? I was expecting something relevant...but in the United States, when a cop DOESN'T have the capability to needlessly beat the crap out of someone, it's considered to be GOOD.

SAMBO is quite a good H2H system actually.
I have seen it defeted by military Krav, but IMHO and EX it is the second most effective system out there.

I know, its like a heavily improved version of Judo. Just add vodka.

but, i think that this would be interesting to know if there are any martial art tournaments between military forces.
