Just watched it (yeah I know... so late) but damn that was a good movie. Finally a Rocky movie that does justice to the original. Rocky's best movies are about fights that he was officially declared the loser. The story almost reads like a classic.

The story of Rocky 1 and Rocky Balboa plays almost like a timeless classic novel. Neither are true action movies and I'm glad they're not. Both are absolutely splendid works of theatrical and story telling art on the beauty and power of the raw human spirit.
