anyone seen this movie? it's on netflix. it's a really great film that follows the 503rd Infantry Regiment in the korengal valley in southern afghanistan

I really enjoyed it, and recommend it highly.

Seen it, alittle more Hollywood then real life but all in all a good pointer on what life in The Stan is for many of the legs.
If you liked this I can recommend "Armadillo" as well.
A no holds barred view on a Danish unit down south.
Up to and including getting into trouble for killing insurgents and joking about it afterwards..

It´s all there, the job AND the ramifications of doing the job well.

We all saw it and heads were nodding all around the Teamroom.

I found Armadillo much better.

I prefer Armadillo.
Seems more honest.

what this movie really not all real footage, i thought it was all actual footage?

It is, it has also been cut down for the documentary.
