Oh right. America runs out of oil wells and decides to invade Norway and Sweden.
You can fight the Norwegians.
I actually was a bit of an avid story writer and I still write sometimes now... I have one story I'm working on at the moment.
But for a story to be worth anything it's got to be a bit convincing. A story of the US and Sweden alone going to war is quite frankly extremely silly, especially if you make the day and age the near future or even an alternative present.
One way you can make this story work is if you have it set maybe about fifty years from now, the US (maybe allied stronger with Canada and who knows maybe even Mexico) go to war against the European Union (which Sweden may or may not be a part of in that future you've made). Of course you'll need to include an explanation about what other powers are doing (i.e. China, India, Russia etc.). Of course if it is a story involving individuals it doesn't need to go into those things in depth but there should at least be a small explanation about what's going on with them. You can slip those in during a dinner conversation scene or with a guy fidgeting with a radio.
If you have regular US troops that we're familiar with these days patrolling your Swedish towns, it won't make much for a story. As long as you don't blow them up, they're generally about as nice as people in uniform come. For your story, you could of course say that the lack of people willing to fight has made America turn to Latin American mercenaries and you can have large chunks of your US forces formations made up of Mexican servicemen. Many of these guys can come from very poor backgrounds, and a lot of these mercenaries could be picked from outfits that fought for drug cartels and the like... but now armed with the latest in battlefield technology.
Ah there. I think I just did half the work.
But if you want my input on who Sweden is likely to get into a fight with, Russia is it. Or the EU if Sweden sides with Russia and the two decide to have a fist fight.
WAIT. Isn't this thing in the wrong forum? I think this would belong in "General Chit Chat"

Say the USA got tired of taking a back seat to the EU, well, if the econemy here was in real bad shape, and Americans by and large viewed the EU as the main source of the ills, I suppose it could happen, but then Canada is also a NATO Member, and as such Canada would be Treaty Bound to fight with Europe, so, with all of NATO against us, except us of course, I for one do not see it happening.

Like I said, it is a very silly scenario to begin with. Why did you think I had to provide a very long entry to make this thing sort of work. Even then it`s very far fetched.

Actually a socialist party have the majority of people's votes and have been the leader for like 50 years, til last year but will probably be leader's again.

Back to business, i hade a idea about Germany annexing the very south of Sweden, beacuse of an Russian gasline running thru Swedish waters, in the future where natural resourses are scarse, (in like 5years),or the Sweden and Denmark have a territory dispute and us Come to Help Denmark.

For a German scenario I guess you could have a backdrop of the world in turmoil because of the lack of oil. Basically Russia's power could be rising immensely due to their oil reserves and perhaps Sweden's cut in the Russian oil pipeline could cause a major shortage in Germany. Sweden declines to cooperate in giving more oil because they are also running on fumes. Germany realizes that if it cannot secure those pipelines within two months, it's economy will collapse.

p.s. you'll probably have to mention how Germany's alternative energy source experiments never lived up to their potential and Germany has been living in a virtual blackout for a whole month and people are starting to get very angry and riots are taking place everywhere.

Either way, writing is VERY fun.
Story telling in general is.
I love story telling whether it's writing a story, drawing cartoons or making scenarios for games (GHOST RECON!!)

Or you could just use original material presented in a coherent manner instead of asking people that you dont even know to write you plot for you...

Write a documentary on Uganda before writing a fictional war book...

History books contain a lot of information you could use for fiction.
Often fiction is based on fact. It's just portrayed in a different place and time with different people.
