Post; Putting it to Rhyme


It is a tradition that the person in charge of the watch on New Years Day in the US Navy compose and make the whole log entry for that watch...in rhyme.

One example common to most people was Ensign Willie' Keith's entry during WW II as outlined in the book " The Caine Mutiny" His entry was:

"12 to 4 - sailing as before".

Others have prayed that the whole ship didnt develope problems that had to be entered on that day!
