In Afghanistan a UN worker noticed that the males would ride the donkey and the females would carry the load walking behind the donkey. The UN worker told the guy “it’s a shame; you know it’s the 21st century now.”

After about a week the UN worker saw the same thing and shook his head in disgust. He told the guy that’s cruel.

About a month later the UN worker saw the same couple but this time the woman walking in front followed by the man and the entire load on the donkey. The UN worker commented, “Progress I see, well done.”

The Afghani looked at the UN worker grinned and said pointing in front, “MINES”.
