Topic: The Princess Bride

Anyone else love this flick? It took on cult status on my fencing team because of this scene:

Westley (as the Dread Pirate Roberts): Ready or not, you've been more than fair. (Draws sword with his left hand.)

Inigo (as he also draws sword with his left hand): You seem a decent fellow. I hate to kill you.

Westley: You seem a decent fellow. I'd hate to die.

Inigo: Begin.

(fencing back and forth)

Inigo: You are using Benetti's Defense against me, eh?

Westley: I thought it appropriate, considering the rocky terrain.

Inigo: You are expecting me to attack with Capo Ferro!

Westley: Naturally, although I find Thibault cancels out Capo Ferro, don't you?

Inigo: Unless the enemy has studied his Agrippa...(flip somersault)...which I have!

(more fencing back and forth)

Inigo (as he is forced backwards towards a cliff-face): You are wonderful!

Westley: Thank you; I've worked hard to become so.

Inigo: I must admit, you are better than I.

Westley: Then why are you smiling?

Inigo: Because I know something that you do not know.

Westley: And what's that?

Inigo: I am not left-handed! (switches hands and beats Westley back)

Westley: You are amazing!

Inigo: I ought to be after twenty years!

Westley: There's something I must tell you...

Inigo: Tell me!

Westley: I'm not left-handed either!

Quote possibly the best fencing scene in all of film.

For the record it is a great film. however i don't care what accent you have or dialect As you wish can never sound like I love you EVER.

i think my favorite quote is when Westley and princess humperdink?(i forget her name) are getting married and the priest keeps saying "twue lub" i cracked UP over all that.
