Its nothing we didnt already know...I mean honestly, if they're going to kill a cop in the first place, they PROBABLY dont give a damn about the laws they have to "circumvent" in order to kill that cop.

I know, common sense by the federal government is a five year study. Banning weapons from the civilian populace does not prevent criminals from getting them. |

I agree. I feel the same way towards drugs, prostitution, and abortion. If a black market exists for something, that clearly indicates that there is market for it that the government cannot stop and should therefore legalise and regulate.

Prostitution is regulated by state statutes not federal law. There is no federal law that prohibits prostitution, only one that prohibits interstate solicitation. (Little article here to read http://www.bayswan.org/EFF.html ) Drugs are regulated by the FDA. Most drugs undergo a vigorous study before they are released to the public. As for the drugs that are currently deemed illegal. . well we have been down that road already. Abortion is regulated since you have to have a license to practice medicine. I am not sure how this would be a black market item since most people would not want some guy in a back alley perfoming one on them. So exactly what else needs to be done? Make people wear a shock collar so they can not break the law? If someone wants to break the law they will do so, end of story. Quote:

RE: drugs, every single one should be legal and regulated. RE: abortions, when they were illegal there certainly was a black market for them. But I agree with you mostly. |
