Zelaya has now claimed "Genocide" in Honduras. I guess after the whole BS about Coup d'Etat worked out well, he might as well go all the way and get even more attention from BSing about genocide! |

This is all I could find on President Zelaya claiming genocide. Mr Zelaya also warned the new administration of interim leader Roberto Micheletti that the international community had turned against them. "Your actions will not go unnoticed because the international courts will have to try you for the genocide that you are carrying out in our country, in suppressing rights and repressing our people," he said. The Honduran interim government says it acted within the law and has the backing of the majority of the population." http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/americas/8134699.stm Seems even more confusing as supporters and those that oppose him are mounting demonstrations. The military does not seem to be interfering or being used to stop them. Using no more force than would be used in most countries to control the crowds and keep them seperated. |

Because the crowds against Zelaya aren't trashing the city.

Simple fact is that the world bought Zelayas story wholesale because it was backed by his socialist buddies and they raised the clamour. There was no fact finding done , so now every word that comes outta his mouth is gospel.

Looks like the sides have agreed to mediation. http://www.ft.com/cms/s/0/d943a362-6...nclick_check=1 "Hillary Clinton yesterday announced that all sides in the dispute over Honduras' recent coup had agreed to mediation, a development Washington hopes will help reduce tensions between Manuel Zelaya, the ousted president, and the country's new de facto government. Speaking after a meeting with Mr Zelaya, the US secretary of state said that Oscar Arias, the president of Costa Rica, had agreed to serve as a mediator and that Roberto Micheletti, Honduras's acting president, had also accepted the move." |

Just so everyone knows the Mediation was a demand that Zelaya be returned to office. This demand was delivered by Hillary Clinton at the orders of POTUS. The reports used to make up the minds of the Ombama administration were prepared by the OAS the chief mediator is a Venezualan assigned by Chavez. The interim Honduran goverment told everyone pound sand this is our country. But the US removed 31 million in aid from one th poorest countries in latin america. The Honduran goverment is holding elections in November. The interim President is not running because being president for even one day is constitutionaly considered a term in Honduras. So hopefully this one little country with nads the size of bowling balls will show up all the socialist and socialist abettors and apeasers and continue to determine her path. Thats some change I could believe in. |

Seriously... America's lack of concern towards the leftist movements in Latin America is going to bite it in the butt some day. I just cannot seem to see what it is that Honduras did wrong. I guess whereas the POTUS can't go overboard with being radically left in America he can do so overseas. Not very encouraging. |
