Post; If it walks like a duck & quacks like a duck..........

So now OAS's is sending their "top international diplomat" to deliver an ultimatum to the Honduran National Congress . The Ultimatum will most likely be restore Zelaya or face severe economic sanctions. This has the backing of Chavez and cronies in the expansionist socialist movement and also POTUS, and the UN.

I've tried to give the ones preaching and critizing Honduras a break in that maybe this wasn't a knee jerk uninformed reaction that they would eventually research and perform analysis on. Guess not.

IMHO the world including POTUS is hanging out Honduras on the word of a criminal ex-president/socialist and his buddies, and are trodding on democracy. So to those world leaders that support this.

You are a bunch of Socialist 's and have no right to let the words liberty, democracy or independence escape your foul mouths. Now go buy a new copy of Mao's little red book because you apparently hold the same principals.

Rob, this time, it IS a bunch of socialists/communists ganging up on Honduras because their buddy Zelaya couldn't pull off what they've been pulling off country to country.
I've been pretty supportive of Obama so far but this is definitely a mistake.

Find me a post where I whined about something GWB did. I bit my tongue for the better part of 8 years. I didn't undermine the President's authority because he was the president... He knew things I didn't... But it's whatever... You aren't gonna change your views on Obama no matter what the man does... America could make the most progress it's ever made and you would STILL dislike every decision he made. Because you had your mind made up about Democrats LONG before Obama's name was in the mix. It happens though. It's not your fault.

Well, that's not my case but I still think Obama is making a huge mistake and I think this is where his more leftist roots hold influence over his judgement. He's more likely to give the left an ear than the right.
In other decisions he's made it looks like he's been able to keep that out of his decision making but in this case... it's a little too much.

How about this from the Topic: Yup... we fought Iraq for oil Post #12.

"that and personal vendetta... It was obviously enough for GWB... That, and we were blinded by 9/11. (Not saying it was justified in any way, simply saying it fueled rash decision-making.)" quote Rob Henderson

Little friendly advise Rob.
Even though you are a college Music Major you don't have to follow your peers with illegal substances. Dare to say no. Otherwise you could end up in a Alzheimer's ward at a very young age.

If the people said they disagreed with the leader and didn't like him, and then the dictator did something illegal by trying to persuade them somehow to have them vote for him, how is it wrong for the military to stage a coup? They're voters too, and if the people don't like it, then they are the arm of the people. I understand that if they installed one of their own, then that is illegal too, and wrong. But in the end, if they merely took him out of power because the people disagreed, then I don't see how it's wrong.

It may have been John Locke who said it, not 100% sure, but if the government is doing something wrong, and the people disagree and are being unjustly ruled, they can remove the dictator in revolt. That revolt could be staged by the local militia or a the peoples army, all the militias coming together. Now if that were so, and the military did it without installing their own, then how is it wrong?

This is just my thought, but I'm not 100% of the situation.

As in, I whined every time GWB made a decision during his presidency... I kept my mouth shut. I waited until his presidency was over, because I felt it was fair to give him the full term(s) before I made my opinion official... How stupid would I look if I criticized him and then he turned out to do something right?

Again, Chukpike... Learn to read. And leave my personal life out of it... I really do get tired of your COUNTLESS attempts to insult me just because I'm decently talented at something and you're not.....

I don't see any mention of your talent.

I said nothing about your personal life or your talent.

Just pointed out your convenient memory lapses.

Your response is nothing more than an attempt to deflect attention away from those memory lapses. You have an undeniable tendency to interpret into other's posts whatever suits you.

And for those of us that have followed these forums prior to the past Presidential election know, it would be no great feat to find examples of your whining about GWB, while he was in office.

Even some of us older members do not seem to have your memory problem.
